It's The Year of the Lord’s Favor
so what does that really mean?
It means there is good news for you!
It means that God has reached out to you
through Jesus Christ, offering you hope and salvation.
It means that you can have a new
beginning with God.
It means that there are many promises
God wants to fulfill in your life!
God really does love you
For God so loved the world that he gave
his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have
eternal life. (John 3:16 NLT)
But God showed his great love for us by
sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8 NLT)
God wants to forgive you and make you
clean
But if we confess our sins to him, he is
faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. (1 John 1:9
NLT)
God is with you
I am with you always, even to the end of
the age. (Matthew 28:20 NLT)
God has said, "I will never fail
you. I will never forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5 NLT)
God has a wonderful plan for your life
“For I know the plans I have for
you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster,
to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT)
God gives you dreams and desires and He
wants to fulfill them
Take delight in the LORD, and he will
give you your heart’s desires. (Psalms 37:4 NLT)
God speaks to you today
“My sheep recognize my voice; I know
them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27 NLT)
God gives you freedom through the truth
Jesus said to the people who believed in
him, "You are truly my disciples if you keep obeying my teachings. And you
will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32 NLT)
God gives you His favor
He gives us more and more strength to
stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say, "God sets himself
against the proud, but he shows favor to the humble." (James 4:6 NLT)
God gives you power by His Holy Spirit
But when the Holy Spirit has come upon
you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere–– in
Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts
1:8 NLT)
